The changes below modify the Bard class from the PHB. It’s otherwise identical.

Soothe the Beast: A Bard of 3rd level or higher with 6 or more ranks in the Perform skill can use song or poetics to improve the attitude of animals. This ability functions as a Ranger’s Wild Empathy ability. The Bard rolls a Perform check in place of a Diplomacy check, and must be within 30 feet of the animal. Influencing an animal in this way usually takes 1 minute, but might take more or less time. The Bard can also use this ability to influence magical beasts with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but the Bard takes a -4 penalty on the check. This is a Bardic Music effect.

Haunting Melody: A Bard of 4th level or higher with 7 or more ranks in the Perform skill can use song or poetics to unnerve enemies within 30 feet. Any opponents in range that can hear the Bard must succeed on a Will saving throw (DC is the Bard’s Perform check) or become Shaken. The effect lasts for as long as the enemy hears the Bard perform and for 5 rounds thereafter. This is a mind-affecting fear effect. This is a Bardic Music effect.

Music of Making: A Bard of 5th level or higher with 8 or more ranks in the Perform skill can use song or poetics to enhance the process of creation. Any allies within 30 feet that can hear the Bard has the duration of any Conjuration spells they cast doubled (as if using the Extend Spell feat, but without increasing the spell’s effective level). Spells with an instantaneous duration are not affected. If the Bard performs while an ally is using the Craft skill within range, the ally gains a +4 bonus to her Craft check. Both effects of this ability also apply to the Bard. This is a Bardic Music effect.
